The Yellow Classic
Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23, Team Searcy will be hosting the first annual Searcy Classic at The Course at River Oaks. This golf tournament event is
presented for the benefit of The Lance Armstrong Foundation. (LIVESTRONG) will be working with Team Searcy to provide services to help us with the first event held in
Arkansas to have a very successful tournament. All proceeds will go toward the Programs of The Lance Armstrong Foundation to support cancer patients and cancer
survivors. This golf tournament will serve as an awareness of men in the community who are diagnosed with cancer and reach out to those in need of support.
The Searcy Classic will be a four-man team scramble with perks as closest to the pin and the longest drive on various holes. The tournament will be held with
available prizes from various local companies for teams to win! Friday will be filled with 36 teams and a per team entry fee of $200. This will include 18 holes of
golf, cart, (LiveStrong) t-shirt, (LiveStrong) wristband, and a meal at the turn. The Course at River Oaks features a Par 71 6,159 yard complex with challenging holes
with narrow fairways, sand traps, and water on 12 of the 18 holes. The courses' signature hole is # 14 with a narrow fairway and a pond in the front of the hole and a
treacherous hill on the right side of the green. Precise shot will be needed to par this tough par 4 hole #14.
